Core Strength Beyond Planks
We broke down what your core really is, why just doing planks isn’t enough, and how to train for both strength & stability. One of the biggest takeaways? Most people don’t engage their core properly!
✅ How to Brace Your Core Correctly:
• Punch Test → Imagine someone is about to hit your stomach—you wouldn’t suck in, you’d brace & tighten
• Balloon Test → Blow into a balloon—your core expands in 360 degrees (not just your belly)
• Apply this to ALL movements—whether lifting, planking, or carrying heavy
✅ Best Core Exercises:
🟢 Stability → Dead Bug, Pallof Press, Side Planks
🔵 Strength → Hanging Leg Raises, Woodchoppers, Farmer’s Carry
🟡 Dynamic → Plank with Reach, Bear Crawls, Turkish Get-Up
